Biography

Michelle Shuttleworth Towler is an enthusiastic and patient professional voice teacher as well as a musical theater, television and commercial performer working in New York City. She has an extensive teaching background, instructing students in voice, musical theater and acting for the past decade. She has trained voices of all types and styles including Broadway, Pop, Country, Jazz and Rock. Ages 13+, male and female.

Teaching Philosophy

Michelle specializes in creating highly customized lesson plans centered around your individual voice and goals. Her basic philosophy is if you have a complete understanding of HOW your instrument works, you will be better able to use it in an effecting and healthy way. Focus is always placed on breathing and vocal technique, but your objectives may vary:

Studio Policy

Lessons are paid at the beginning of each lesson. Those who know they would like to take regular weekly lessons have the option of purchasing a monthly package at a discounted rate. Monthly packages are paid the last week of each month for the following month.

You must cancel lessons 24 hours in advance. If you do not give 24 hours notice, no make up will be scheduled and the fee for that lesson will not be refunded.
