Teaching Philosophy |
Learning to sing means learning to think! -Margaret Harshaw
My studio teaching is informed by the teachings and legacy of Pauline Viardot-Garcia and her brother Manuel Garcia (the Christopher Columbus of the Voice), current findings in Voice Science as well as the revolutionary perspective of Dr. Afred Tomatis (the Christopher Columbus of the Ear), who was the first to prove that the larynx can only emit those frequencies which the ear can accurately analyze.
