Andres Andrade (MM, New England Conservatory, BA, University of South Florida) is currently on the faculty of Queens College and the Turtle Bay Music School. He spent five years as vocal instructor and director of the Opera Theatre at the La Guardia Arts High School and has taught privately since 1988. He has taught at the American School of Music, the New England Conservatory of Music, the Worth-Tyrell Studio of the Performing Arts, Young Actors Workshop, Stage Door Manor and Highbridge Voices. Current and former students performing in professional and community venues in America, Asia and Europe. Former students have gone on to further study at New England Conservatory, Westminster Choir College, Longy School of Music, Salem State College of Drama, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), and Emerson College, among others. His students have made television appearances on NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX-TV, PBS and Univisión and film appearan ces in Universal and Samuel Goldwyn pictures. |
